Cookie Notice

Last updated: May 7, 2026

1. Summary

Signatura uses only essential cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in, remember your interface preferences, and operate signing sessions. We do not use analytics, advertising, social-media, or cross-site tracking technologies. Because we do not set non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner — under the EU ePrivacy Directive and equivalent laws, strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent.

2. What we set

Cookies (set by Supabase Auth)

Name Purpose Duration
sb-<project>-auth-token Keeps you signed in across page loads. Set when you log in; cleared when you log out. Session / refresh window
sb-<project>-auth-token-code-verifier OAuth PKCE flow verification. Used briefly during sign-in handshakes. Short-lived

Local storage

  • theme-mode — remembers your dark/light mode preference
  • dropdown-templates — remembers reusable dropdown option lists you create in the document editor
  • getting-started-dismissed — remembers that you closed the onboarding checklist

Session storage (cleared when you close the tab)

  • auto-sign consent — remembers your Auto-Sign consent decision for the current session
  • auto-sign job cache — caches an in-progress Auto-Sign analysis so a page reload does not restart it
  • send-config-signers — preserves signer details if you refresh the “Send” configuration page

3. What we do NOT use

  • No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no PostHog, no other product analytics)
  • No advertising or marketing pixels (no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads, no LinkedIn Insight)
  • No social-media share trackers
  • No fingerprinting or device-graph technology
  • No cross-site tracking

4. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Signatura honors the Global Privacy Control browser signal. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, GPC has no additional effect — we already treat all visitors as having opted out of those activities.

5. Sub-processor cookies

Some sub-processors may set their own essential operational cookies when their services are used (for example, Stripe for payment processing on the checkout flow, Cloudflare for traffic-management). These cookies are necessary to deliver the relevant service and are not used by Signatura for tracking. See our Sub-Processors page for the full list.

6. Clearing cookies and storage

You can clear cookies and site storage at any time using your browser's settings. Doing so will sign you out and reset your stored preferences. Browser-specific instructions:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data
  • Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data

7. Changes to this notice

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this page, request consent before setting them, and provide an opt-out mechanism. Until then, no banner is needed and no consent action is required.
